What is holistic counselling?
Holistic counselling combines our open and compassionate dialogue with evidence-based tools such as Clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and HeartMath.
Our dialogue works with the parts of your issues that you are consciously aware of. At the same time, the evidence-based tools work with the subconscious aspects of your stress, anxiety, and emotional pain, which you quite likely don’t know about.
This is why holistic counselling is effective even when you don’t want to talk about your issue. Your conscious mind doesn’t need to be involved to get results.
The holistic counselling approach supports genuine emotional release and helps you to feel more grounded, resilient, and stronger within yourself.
What kinds of issues can you help me with?
I work with adults who are:
- Experiencing anxiety or stress
- Facing relationship challenges, including difficult or emotionally draining relationships
- Healing from all forms of trauma whether past or present.
Many people come to me feeling overwhelmed or stuck. As we work together with practical, evidence-based tools and compassionate support, they start to feel more grounded, resilient, and at ease.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. I offer a complimentary 15-minute Discovery Call where you can ask me any questions you have, and see whether us working together feels right for you.
How long are sessions and how often do I need them?
Sessions are 60 minutes and the number you’ll need depends on your goals.
Some people feel noticeable relief after just a few sessions. Others work with me over a longer period of time because they want to go deeper and/or require ongoing support.
Are my sessions confidential?
Yes. I keep everything you share with me entirely confidential, in line with the professional ethical standards I adhere to and New Zealand privacy laws.
The only time I would make an exception to this is if there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, or if I am required to share information by law.
What can I expect in my first session?
Your first session is a space to explore:
- What’s been happening in your life
- What you’d like us to work on together
- How your life might look or feel when things have changed for the better.
I’ll also learn a little of your personal history so I can understand your situation well.
Once we have these foundations in place we’ll use tools like Clinical EFT and HeartMath to support the change you want to create in your life.
How do I book a session?
You can book directly on my website. It’s quick and secure, and you can choose a time that suits you.
What are your fees and how do I pay?
Session fees are listed on the booking page. Payment can be made by bank transfer or credit/debit card.

Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. I offer one-to-one sessions online throughout New Zealand and Australia, and in-person in Wellington depending on the type of appointment you book.
Many people appreciate the convenience of having sessions from home. You can save on travel time and costs and still receive the same level of personal support.

I’m based in Wellington, New Zealand. I also offer online sessions to clients across New Zealand, Australia and beyond.
